What got me most in this video is how well the goal of financial management is explained and how the complication between enhancing rate of return and maintaining a high level of safety in all instances. I just wish there was more thorough examples.

It (Sporalyze) is a Facebook application that allows you to create and visualize hypothetical budget scenarios. You can track actuals vs plan. We aren't software engineers, but it works.
