Millionaires In The U.S. Rebounding Again

Currently, there are 8.4 million households in the United States having a net worth of no less than $1 million or perhaps more than that, according to reliable sources.  The Spectrem Group had shown that the number of American millionaires had increased by 600,000 or 8% in the year 2010.  The reason behind this increase is due to the increasing stock market and worldwide growth of the economy.  This report is near the records in the year 2007 where 9.2 million millionaire households were recorded.  The latest count on the number of millionaires was the same with that of the year 2005.

Excerpts:

“There are now 8.4 million households in the U.S. with a net worth of at least $1 million or more, according to a new report.”

“The wealthy, of course, have benefited from rising stock markets and global economic growth, while the rest of the U.S. population struggles with high unemployment, cuts in government spending and the real-estate slump.”
